Liquefied Gas Storage Systems are an integral part of a supply chain to import and export products (Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Ethylene, Ethane,
Propylene, Propane, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Butane, Ammonia) in order to deliver to various customers (e.g. utilisation of LNG in natural gas power plants, distribution to final
consumers via natural gas networks, forwarding of LNG to remote areas by trucks, railcars and barges, or utilisation of hydrocarbons in chemical production as feedstock).
A storage system consists of a storage tank to store the product and process facilities to maintain product at its storage condition (fully-refrigerated storage at atmospheric condition, pressurised storage or semi-refrigerated storage at an intermedium stage).
In addition, associated process equipments are required for filling of the storage tank and for
send-out from the storage tank to consumers in liquid or gaseous form.
Werner Schlott Liquid Gas Consulting offers support and advise along the whole supply chain of liquefied gases to promote essential solution-finding, to check project viability, as well as to validate technical, operational and economic conditions.
